S.João is the most important traditional celebration at Porto. A large crowd invades the streets of the center, armed with leek and big plastic hammers, knocking all the head they can get!
This street activity is nourished by grilled sardines and wine, … … and all kind of alcohol, what together with the loud music, invites to “dancing in the street sessions”, like the ones we had here 🙂 (I should have drawn the dance!!)
