I´ve been drawing a car at a wall with Posca markers. This 1,4 m classic Cooper is being displayed at the bedroom of an (almost) 3 years old Mini fan. It is hard to sketch in a such a big scale! I hope to finish it soon…

Finally I was able to draw a Lambretta, ( I hope my friend lambrettista.net from WordPress enjoys it, because I was thinking on him while drawing! ). In fact, I did 2: a LD125 and a L125. The others are Spanish competition bikes: A Montesa Impala and a 125 Lube Renn (half German).
This weekend I was at the Muvim, drawing some gorgeous classic bikes. It was hard to choose what to sketch! Finally I opted, for this first sheet, to sketch two Bultaco ( a “Metralla” from 1962 and a 1967 TSS).
The first choice, though, was the lovely spanish Ducati 24Hores 250cc, from 1950.

I love this 50 years old pine trees shaped by the wind. They frame the amazing view to the Mediterranium sea and give us the blessed shadow to the house. Lamy on Clony note book
Family house at Altea: I’ve drawn this composition a couple of times. It won’t be the last, for sure: I’m not happy with the tonal values and the lack of contrast. The next time, I will try to do it with brighter colors …

At the Beach of Campomanes the sidewalks are often used to park the car, so people have to walk on the street. Strange urban reversal functions. If the car is a lovely orange Mehari like this one, I can excuse it (almost!)….
Using watercolor while sailing (in a cold and humid environment) is a bit tricky because it takes ages to get dry!
