Rome, at the end of the afternoon.It was the fourth drawing in the afternoon, so the adrenaline was already up, it is then when the lines start to go smoother …

I did it with an uni-ball pen and watercolors, drawing two scales of the square, as a “zoom”.

Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere, Rome

Right next to where I´m living, there is Santa Maria in Trastevere, in its founding, certainly one of the oldest churches in Rome. I love its mosaics, and  carved capitals along its nave , that I´ve realised later, are reused from the ruins of the Baths of Caracalla.
