I’ve done a lot of sketches from this Castle, as it was my Phd subject. 
This is the drawing I did in 2012, on a similar spot ( a little lower ). I did change my way of drawing in these last 7 years!!
One hour sketch at El Carmen, at Valencia Old Town, next to Mercado de Mosén Sorell. Started with Lamy safari , then Uniball and finally Pentel brush pen for the dark values. Strathmore paper.

I was kindly asked to sketch this lovely #mb100 based in Bilbao. I answered: “sorry I don’t sketch by picture as principle”. Then I found out the owners were surfers and cycle riders… rules are made to be broken… hope they like it!
