I’ve done a lot of sketches from this Castle, as it was my Phd subject. 
This is the drawing I did in 2012, on a similar spot ( a little lower ). I did change my way of drawing in these last 7 years!!

This morning ( almost November!) at Patacona beach.
I Keep following Louis Kahn sketches, I ending up in such charming places like this at Capri. I can’t complain with the weather this time, and I couldn’t resist diving into these waters.
Another watercolor of one of my favorite beaches at Amalfi, Conca dei Marini. This time in Canson paper and fewer outline definition than usual. By the way, while I was eating at the nice restaurant’s esplanade, I was told that Jackie Kennedy used to rent a house in this beach for her vacations and Sophia Loren used to own a Villa here.
Spiaggia (beach) della Crestarella. Vetri Sul Mare. Amalfi Coast. This morning, I decided walking till the first nice beach close to Salerno. After 5km and 1h30 walk I arrived this one… I don’t know what was the best part, diving into the sea or the mozzarella and tomato sandwich! BTW, in realizing that outside urban spots, I tend to use the pencil.
I’ve done a lot of sketches of this iconic Alvaro Siza’s swimming pool (Piscina das marés). This time, big waves were hitting the rocks and invading the pools, reinforcing the relationship and integration of the building and the site. The powerful wind dramatized even more the atmosphere…

Waked up very early this morning, aiming to find an empty beach and the morning light. I’ve started drawing before 8 o’clock. Unfortunately the clouds started gradually covering the Sun, keeping off the sunlight at the final picture.
One of my favorite beaches ever! Amado beach, Costa Vicentina, Alentejo.
