20 minute sketch at Palau de les Arts, one of Calatrava’s building at the former river in Valencia. I don’t like this building, it is the first time I draw it from my will, but I must admit it is challenging to sketch, and that’s a good motivation!

The former river that used to cross Valencia was replaced by public garden, after a catastrophic flood, 60 years ago.
I was invited to teach at a drawing workshop (desenho em viajem) in the south of Portugal, that turned out to combine (very well) gastronomy and sketches. I found amazing landscapes, like this one, near Mértola. I had already been in this region on Summer, but in spring the colors change from the usual (for me) yellow to green brushed with an infinity of others bright colors!
