1189 / Yesterday: graffiti time! / CTAV / Valencia

Yesterday I attended a great workshop headed by DEIH, where I learned some nice tips on “graffiti” and “urban art”.

The goal was to make a composition related with “architecture” on the back wall of Architecture Association.

I wanted to work my 2D drawing with the 3D form of the wall pillar and perspective efects.

After suffering a lot, this is my part of the composition, showing my lack of experience with this scale and materials, reflected in the poor results…

Anyway, I enjoyed the experience so, I’ll try to improve on wall painting…

713 / sailing & painting with the spinnaker up / Malvarrosa / Valencia

Aftter drawing this boat so many times, I feel confortable to draw it directly with my uni-ball and then painting all the scene while chatting to my friends (on the wheel or trimming the sails).

I did a little break to help to haul up the spinnaker!

Sailing under the huge green spi of the “Formidable”

Yesterday, when sailing at the Formidable.

No so much wind at Valencia yesterday, so I had plenty of time to try different drawing technics, using every material I had with me!

We were fighting for the first place with Ana on the wheel and Beto on the prow. Sailing with the Spi, makes it easier to draw.
