This afternoon at S. Carlino. I was 2 hours in Rome, on my way to Salerno. So, I had time to eat a cornetto e cappuccino, a tasteful panino and to sketch Borromini’s baroque master piece!
A rainy and freezing morning at Rome, but with such nice company as the Roman sketchers it is a pleasure to draw. Thank you all for receiving me so welll!
Materials : marker, watercolor, and the FOOTPRINT of my Camper shoes at the upper right corner, that I didn´t want to erase totally…
An iconic masterpiece of the Baroque architeture, was commissioned in 1634 and built during 1638–46, except for the tall facade, which was added about 1677.
