Next weekend, one of the mythical taverns in Porto will close the door. At least I kept a couple of sketches I did there, in the paper tablecloth, while tasting a nice homemade fish and chatting with Sr. Sousa. Farewell “Adega do Olho”! Adeus!
A fast sketch at one of many slopes at Porto. #lamy on #muji #sketchbook.
People say here you can find the “best hot-dog in Porto”! When the owner realized I was sketching, asked me to draw him a “gazela” (gazelle). Finally, I gave him this sketch; i think he was happy 🙂

Porto’s downtown is changing rapidly. A couple of years ago, the major part of its building were abandoned. These days, due to tourism and speculation, they are being reconstructed, fortunately. Nevertheless, I feel somehow this urge to record the city I was used to….
Drawing with @joaopauloalbergaria at Miragaia. Its houses, slopes, colors, rhythms, shadows and people make it an amazing neighborhood to be sketched!
The beautiful and touristy Praça da Ribeira at Porto, also called as Praça do Cubo. I was not very happy with this one, but I showed it to the great sketcher @joaopauloalbergaria that gave me his agreement to post it 🙂
