  1. I love your compositions. Do you have the version of the final drawing in mind before you started? Or you start in the middle and let it grow organically?

    • Thanks! That’s an hard question. I try to imagine the framed drawing at the sketchbook before doing it. So I choose if I should do it in vertical, horizontal, double page, … . Sometime I draw the “skeleton” of the sketch in order get the right proportions. Sometimes I just start from left to right. To be honest, I’m always making hypothetical compositions that come to my mind when it see some spot. If I can, I go there and sketch.
